George Clooney asked:
I had an oddball dream last night.I had dreamt there was a lion waiting outside my house. but it wasnt like a big lion. it looked small kinda like it was young and it kept tring to get in the house using all the doors then there was this slighly cracked window that this lion crawled into. For some reason it didnt attack me.It felt like it just needed to be around me.Then I open ed the front door i opened up the front door as an exit and there was 2 baby cubs there, then i ran upstairs to the second floor and i tried to close the door again because i was in my parents house. But the lil lion overpowered me and was in the room with me. It started to growl a little bit but still didnt attack Then i woke up. It was soooooo weird. any good answers?

Lion = authority figure, alert, warning.
baby cubs = seeking for protecton
This lion may serve as symbol of awareness. It is giving you alert of some sort. Since this big lion happens in your house, it may be related to things going around the house. In other words, it is about family and private issues. Projecting the baby cubs in the house reflects the need for protection. You may be feeling the need to be protected in your privacy.
In translation, the big lion may just mean things you feel afraid of going home, you projected it to be there to give you some guidance, warnings and alert. The little lions however symbolize the need of being protected in some aspects of your life.

Hi George, One of the symbolisms of lion, is the lion is the king of the jungle. As Mel Brooks says, “It’s good to be the king”, but there is a lot more to it than that, being the king is a leadership position, being the king (leader) is a responsibility. The cubs also seem to represent responsibility, cubs are young and dependent on the king. Overall the imagery in this dream seems like you are being asked to take on more responsibilities in your life, but you are shying away from taking on these responsibilities, and shying away from leadership in your sphere of influence. It seems as though there are others who are looking to you for leadership, but you don’t wish to be the one to lead them. That you are shutting this symbol out and trying to hide away from them in your parent’s house suggests that you would like to hide away in the lack of responsibility that comes with being a kid, but the world is asking you to take more responsibility as an adult. I sense you are very young still, and feeling not quite prepared to fully take on adult roles in your life. Opportunity knocks. When you open the front door, responsibility is there asking you to take more of a leadership role, but along with this responsibility is opportunity on your doorstep. The young alpha male lion is a king, but not fully developed, the way this imagery looks. He follows you around, and growls etc but doesn’t attack, because what he wants you to do is acknowledge and embrace him. The leadership roles that go with full adulthood are not going to go away. If it is that you feel unprepared to take on full leadership, perhaps you would benefit from more education to help you feel more confident in going out in the world with pride. (a grouping of lions is called a “pride”, as a grouping of cows is a herd, or a grouping of geese is a gaggle). Perhaps the group of lions is trying to tell you to take more pride in yourself, have more confidence in your abilities. In looking over your other questions, I notice that in a couple of them you want to know how to have more gray hairs for a salt and pepper look. If you embrace your kingly birthright, and take on more responsibility and leadership in the world, trust me, you will earn them soon enough!
Good luck to you…..
